Getting Started

Use this checklist to finish setting up your parking account. The options you see may vary based on your community and your account role.

Were your vehicles imported? Review every imported vehicle before parking. Confirm the make, model, license plate, country, and state or province, then edit the vehicle to add its color. Vehicle colors were not included in the import.

1. Open your welcome email

  1. Look for an email with the subject Welcome to [your community] - Set Your Password.
  2. Select Set Your Password and create your password before the link expires.
  3. Sign in with the same email address that received the welcome email.

If the link has expired, open the community parking site, select Login, and request a password reset.

2. Choose the correct account

Your dashboard shows every account you can access. An account may represent a home, unit, tenant, company, or another group used by your community.

If you have more than one account, each one appears separately on the dashboard. Check the account name before adding a user, changing a vehicle, or assigning a permit. Vehicles, users, and permits belong only to the account shown above them, so repeat the setup steps for each account as needed.

3. Invite other users

  1. From the dashboard, find the correct account and select Users.
  2. Select Invite User.
  3. Enter the person's email address and choose a role.
  4. Add an optional note, then select Send Invitation.
  • User can manage vehicles and permits.
  • Manager can manage users, vehicles, and permits.
  • Owner has full access and is available only to an owner who is allowed to assign that role.

Only account managers and owners can invite users. A new user receives instructions to set up access; an existing user is asked to accept the invitation.

4. Review imported vehicles

  1. From the dashboard, select Vehicles for the correct account.
  2. Review every vehicle's make, model, license plate, country, state or province, and active status.
  3. Select Edit, add the vehicle's Color, correct any other details, and save.

Accurate vehicle and plate information is required for parking enforcement. Contact your community before parking if an imported record cannot be corrected.

5. Add another vehicle

  1. Open Vehicles for the correct account.
  2. Select Add Vehicle.
  3. Enter the make, model, color, license plate, country, and state or province. Complete any other required fields.
  4. Review the information and select Save Vehicle.

If Add Vehicle is unavailable, the account may have reached its vehicle limit or your role may not allow vehicle changes.

6. Assign a permit

  1. Open Vehicles for the correct account.
  2. Find the vehicle that should receive the permit and select Assign Permit.
  3. Under Available Permits, select Assign for the correct permit.
  4. Return to the vehicle list and confirm the vehicle is marked Permitted.

To move an existing permit, open Assign Permit on the vehicle that should receive it and choose the permit under Transfer from Another Vehicle. The previous vehicle becomes unpermitted. Some communities require a waiting period before a permit can be moved again.

7. Do a final check

  • Every driver who needs access has been invited to the correct account.
  • Every active vehicle has accurate information, including its color.
  • Each vehicle that will park is marked Permitted.
  • If you have multiple accounts, you completed the check for each account.

Do not assume that adding a vehicle also assigns a permit. If anything looks incorrect, contact your community before parking.
